以“翻译思想”为研究对象的翻译思想史不是个人学说和理论的集合，而是具有连续性的翻译思想的演化进程，不仅包括对翻译史及理论史上核心议题的反思，也涵盖社会思潮和时代背景下的翻译行为和事件及其背后更深层的理念、集体精神、价值观和思维方式。全书分为引论、专论和余论。引论部分通过概念辨析，梳理翻译思想史的研究对象、研究方法，追溯翻译思想和翻译思想史的源流，从而为翻译思想史的研究奠定学科基础。专论部分探讨中国翻译起源于巫觋、早期佛经翻译中的神异现象、古代佛经翻译思想、晚清过渡时期译才的翻译思想，从而在微观层面考察真实历史事件中的翻译思想脉络；“余论”，在宏观层面考察历史上翻译在各朝各代的工具性地位，从而回答中国翻译史上为什么没有形成系统的翻译理论和相关著作、学说。

The history of translation thought with "translation thought" as the research object is not a collection of individual theories and theories, but a continuous evolution process of translation thought, which includes not only reflection on the core issues in the history of translation and theory, but also the translation behaviors and events in the context of social thought and the times, as well as the deeper concepts, collective spirit, values and ways of thinking behind them. The book is divided into an introduction, a monograph, and an afterthought. The introductory part sorts out the research objects and research methods of the history of translation ideas through conceptual analysis, and traces the source of translation ideas and the history of translation ideas, so as to lay a disciplinary foundation for the research of translation intellectual history. The monograph part discusses the origin of Chinese translation, the mysterious phenomena in the translation of early Buddhist scriptures, the translation ideas of ancient Buddhist scriptures, and the translation ideas of translators in the transitional period of the late Qing Dynasty, so as to investigate the context of translation thought in real historical events at the micro level. "Yu Theory" examines the instrumental position of translation in various dynasties and generations in history at a macro level, so as to answer why there is no systematic translation theory and related works and theories in the history of Chinese translation.（AI翻译）
