The conservation-oriented society is a brand-new social development model, which is a realistic and urgent need for China, where resource and environmental bottlenecks are increasing, and it is also an inherent requirement for achieving the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. To build a conservation-oriented society, it is necessary to deeply explore the contemporary value of China's traditional conservation theory, Marx's conservation theory and the CPC's conservation theory, comprehensively learn from the successful experience accumulated by Western developed countries in the practice of saving resources and protecting the ecological environment, and clearly understand the obstacles encountered in China's current construction and development and the challenges it will face in the future.
