For the Chinese Communist Party, the advent of the Internet era has greatly changed the ecological environment and social conditions under which it governs. The vigorous rise of the Internet and its close interaction with the real society have provided new historical opportunities for party building and opened up a broader working space. Chen Jianbo and Zhuang Qiansheng's "Research on Party Building in the Internet Age/Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' Marxist Theoretical Discipline Construction and Theoretical Research Project Series" traces the origin of the Internet, analyzes its characteristics and future development trends, discusses the opportunities and challenges facing party building in the Internet era, and proposes to strengthen network party building, establish correct concepts, deeply grasp the law of network discourse, and promote the innovation of network party building discourse. This book believes that it is necessary to uphold the party's leadership over Internet work, and give full play to the important role of the Internet in promoting the construction of socialist democratic politics, strengthening the organization and management of party members, and implementing the party's mass line.
