民以食粮为天，食以安全为先，安以健康为本。中药类保健食品因具有历史悠久、理论完善、资源丰富、安全可靠、功能特色显著等优点成为一种食疗养生新产业和生活方式。为贯彻落实习近平总书记“绿水青山就是金山银山”的发展理念，进一步研究食疗生活方式和产业化发展途径，中国社会科学院社会发展研究中心等研究机构联合甘肃陇和春农林牧科技发展有限公司、亳州华仲金叶医药科技有限公司等实体公司，合作开展研究，并每年发布一到两辑中国药食同源健康集刊。集刊将围绕国家卫计委发布的101种食药物质目，重点介绍药食同源知识、药食同源产品研发、安全与风险管理等知识，传播健康生活方式，探索满足群众健康生活需求的示范模式和总结研究经验，为中国培育新型能源中药经济资源、解决重大民生问题提供决策依据。
