京隐，为彭树智先生的别名。
《京隐述作集》从“文以载道”“史以明道”和“哲以论道”三方面探索人类文明交往自觉之道，是彭先生治学的新作。该书关注东西方文明的交往，关注美学在人类历史上的发展，以关注人的内心为旨归，全方位展示了老一辈历史学者对于人文精神的思考。今将前两集出版，“哲以论道”且待来日。
《京隐述作集》第一集《文以载道》分四编。第一编文以载乐道；第二编文以载美道；第三编文以载诗道；第四编文以载述道。分别论述了东西方文明的交往，中国的美学发展，中国传统的治学之功；最后附有学界对彭老先生的访谈杂感。
