《从百草园到三味书屋》自1931年入选中学语文课本后被广泛传诵。“百草园”作为鲁迅回忆空间的专有名词，具有不可移动的经典地位。本书将“百草园”由现代中国人童年的精神“乐园”，还原为一个包含了家族史、阅读史、文学史等多重意蕴的历史空间。“百草园”的诞生是周氏兄弟诗文对话的产物，二人围绕“园”展开的系列写作持续了半个多世纪。“百草园”也由绍兴周家新台门的后园，升华为一个具有追索五四新文学起点意义的文学空间。

As the proper name of Lu Xun's memory space, "Baicaoyuan" has an immovable classical position. This book restores the "Baicaoyuan" from a spiritual "paradise" of modern Chinese childhood to a historical space that contains multiple meanings of family history, reading history, and literary history. The birth of "Baicaoyuan" is the product of a poetic dialogue between the Zhou brothers, whose series of writings around the "garden" lasted for more than half a century.The "Baicaoyuan" was also upgraded from the back garden of the Zhou family's Xintai Gate in Shaoxing to a literary space with the significance of tracing the beginning of the new literature of May Fourth.
