本书是每年一辑有关北京学研究的研究合辑，为该年有关北京文化、北京历史地理、北京史的近期新研究成果。该辑由四个专题组成。第一个专题为北京全国文化中心建设，围绕中轴线、三山五园等内容展开。第二个专题为北京历史与文化研究，根据历史文献史籍对北京地名变化、北京指南等内容加以讨论。第三个专题为北京文化遗产保护与利用研究，通过实地考察，对餐饮老字号、历史文化街区、京西门头沟文化的保护情况加以梳理。第四个专题是北京学人。
