On the basis of deeply understanding the spirit of Comrade Xi Jinping's series of important speeches, this book systematically sorts out and analyzes new ideas, new viewpoints and new theories on party building after the 18th National Congress. The main contents of the thinking on party building in the new period were preliminarily summarized and analyzed from six aspects: the "loftiness" of strengthening ideals and beliefs, the "people's nature" of strengthening the sense of purpose, the "rule of law" of improving system construction, the "comprehensiveness" of strengthening strict party management, the "systematic" nature of optimizing the political ecology, and the "practicality" of exploring the six powers to govern the roots, and the basic characteristics and theoretical characteristics of the ideological system of party building in the new period were preliminarily discussed. On this basis, it further summarizes and summs up the fresh experience of party building under the new historical conditions, and expounds the important value of the new thinking on party building since the 18th National Congress.
