本书在梳理了国内外产业结构变动的理论进展并总结概括了产业结构测度方法和效应研究相关文献的基础上，首先根据制造业结构变动的机理、借鉴典型国家经验并结合中国制造业结构变动的实践模式，提出了测度开放经济条件下中国制造业结构变动的改进的分析框架，然后依据改进的分析框架，从产业结构垂直专业化和水平多样化两方面实证测度了中国制造业的结构变动情况，并进行了国别来源分析和国际比较；最后以卡尔多制造业增长模型为基础选择经济增长、产业关联、生产率和就业四方面对中国制造业结构变动的效应进行了实证检验。
On the basis of combing the theoretical progress of industrial structure change at home and abroad and summarizing the relevant literature on industrial structure measurement methods and effect research, this book first puts forward an improved analytical framework for measuring China's manufacturing structure change under the conditions of open economy based on the mechanism of manufacturing structure change, drawing on typical national experience and combining with the practice mode of China's manufacturing structure change, and then based on the improved analytical framework. The structural changes of China's manufacturing industry were empirically measured from the aspects of vertical specialization and horizontal diversification of industrial structure, and national source analysis and international comparison were carried out. Finally, based on the Kaldor manufacturing growth model, the effects of economic growth, industrial linkage, productivity and employment in China's manufacturing structure are empirically tested.（AI翻译）
