20世纪90年代中期以来，农村经济体制改革带来的农业发展势头开始陷入僵局，农民的收入停滞不前甚至出现负增长。2000年李昌平发出“农村真穷、农民真苦、农业真危险”的呐喊，“三农”问题便成为全民关注的热点。本书梳理我国传统的土地经济理论、政策思想和制度特色，分析太平天国运动时期、辛亥革命时期、中国革命风暴时期的不同土地政策主张和实践，重点回顾新中国60多年农村土地问题的重大改革，反思我国农村土地问题世纪变革中传统的影响和历次变革中的经验和教训，从而为“三农”问题的解决提供思路和方法。

Since the mid-90s of the 20th century, the momentum of agricultural development brought about by the reform of the rural economic system has begun to reach a deadlock, and farmers' incomes have stagnated or even experienced negative growth. In 2000, Li Changping issued a cry that "the countryside is really poor, the peasants are really suffering, and agriculture is really dangerous," and the issue of "three rural areas" has become a hot spot of national concern. This book sorts out China's traditional land economic theories, policy ideas and institutional characteristics, analyzes different land policy propositions and practices during the Taiping Rebellion, the Xinhai Revolution and the storm period of the Chinese revolution, focuses on reviewing the major reforms of rural land issues in New China over the past 60 years, and reflects on the traditional influence of China's rural land issues in the century of changes and the experiences and lessons learned in successive changes, so as to provide ideas and methods for solving the "three rural issues".（AI翻译）
