本书是中国社会科学院西亚非洲研究所重点研究课题——“中东金融体系发展研究” 的最终成果。本书以中东阿拉伯国家为研究对象，以中东金融体系演变及演变过程中出现的问题为切入点，以新制度金融理论为基础，从国际政治经济学的视角概括和总结了地缘政治、石油美元、伊斯兰教、商业文化环境和金融全球化对中东金融体系发展的影响，并以主权财富基金作为案例研究。最后本书就如何建立完善的金融制度环境、确立中东金融未来发展方向提出了建议。

姜英梅，山东招远人。南开大学经济学学士、中国社会科学院法学硕士、中共中央党校法学博士。现为中国社会科学院西亚非洲研究所中东室助理研究员，主要从事中东经济发展和能源问题研究。

曾参与中国社会科学院重大课题：“阿拉伯国家对外政策”、“列国志：沙特阿拉伯”。此外，还就中东政治、经济、能源以及与周边国家关系等问题发表学术论文二十多篇。
