The book is the final result of the National Social Science Fund project, and the appraisal grade is "excellent". The modernization of marriage and family law is a legal reform movement that has been implemented by Chinese under the national conditions of the country that has lasted for more than 100 years, with its own special background and unique development trajectory. This book reviews the great changes that have taken place in China's marriage and family law since the implementation of modern transformation and reform at the end of the Qing Dynasty, summarizes the changes between marriage and family law tradition and modernity, explores the regularity of the modernization of marriage and family law, and studies the reform issues that better meet the needs of economic and social development and people's happy life in the future. This project is based on the reform of marriage and family legislation in the national legislature, with the bill as the main reference. In principle, relevant regulations, regulations and local legislation promulgated by administrative organs will not be discussed.
