按照目前我国电化教育发展历史阶段的划分,“早期电化教育”一般是指电化教育前期孕育、正式形成与初步发展的初创阶段(1920—1949年)。“早期电化教育人物”是指那些在早期电化教育发展过程中曾作出巨大贡献的重要历史人物。本书拟从诸多早期电化教育工作者中遴选出12位电化教育专家进行研究。本书以系统整理电化教育先驱学术思想为探索当代教育技术中国之路提供历史启示为基本目标,以由“一斑”而窥“全豹”、从“历史”到“逻辑”、究“土壤”探“精神”为基本指导思想,综合应用访谈法、问卷法、文献分析等多种方法,尽可能多地搜集研究所需的一手资料。一方面将电化教育先驱人物放在其所处的特定的时代背景中考察,对其电化教育理论与实践进行评介的同时,还原其理论与实践产生、发展的真实历程,在更宽广的“语境”下更清晰地揭示他们为什么会提出这些学术思想;另一方面,将电化教育先驱人物的理论与实践推到早期电化教育整体之中,考察其对我国早期电化教育乃至教育整体的作用和影响。在上述研究的基础上,总结和把握我国早期电化教育发生和发展的规律,为探索当代教育技术中国道路乃至我国教育信息化建设提供有益借鉴。1.本书属于抢救性研究。由于历史的原因,我国电化教育发展过程中出现了严重的断层。早期电化教育的历史资源长期得不到应有的重视,相关的历史资料也较为散乱。另外,早期电化教育历史的亲历者大多已经故去,少数健在的也都年事已高。对这些电化教育先驱人物的研究,此时不做,将来必然更加困难。所以,及时对健在的亲历者进行访谈,搜集整理资料,对我国早期电化教育人物学术思想进行较为系统的研究,在此种意义上属抢救性研究。2.提炼历史智慧,为探索当代教育技术中国之路乃至促进我国教育信息化建设提供历史启示。我国早期电化教育走出了不同于西方的独特道路。然而,在经过“30年冬眠期”我国电化教育二次起步后,早期电化教育这段辉煌的历史却长期被忽略。在与国际接轨的同时,却面临着水土不服的困境,“全盘西化”的批评声不绝于耳,探索电化教育中国道路的呼声日益高涨。系统挖掘、提炼我国电化教育先驱的历史智慧,可以为探索当代教育技术中国道路,乃至促进我国教育信息化建设提供历史启示。3.丰富教育技术学基本理论与教育史学科的研究内容。对学科历史的研究是学科基本理论建设的基础性工作。本书通过对我国早期电化教育人物及其学术思想的系统研究,在一定程度上丰富了当代教育技术学基本理论的研究内容,同时为构建中国特色的教育技术学理论体系提供历史启迪。另外,教育技术学是教育学的二级学科,其历史研究也是教育史研究的组成部分,在这种意义上本书也是对教育史研究内容的丰富。本书除了具有完善教育技术学科基本理论建设、丰富教育史史料的理论价值外,还具有“为探索当代教育技术中国之路乃至促进我国教育信息化建设提供历史启示”的应用价值。当然,由于作者所掌握的资料与学术水平所限,书中的错漏与不当之处在所难免,恳请读者批评指正。本书适合于教育技术学专业的学生、教师和对教育技术学感兴趣的其他专业师生。

According to the current division of the historical stage of the development of electronic education in China, "early electronic education" generally refers to the initial stage (1920-1949) of the early gestation, formal formation and initial development of electronic education. "Early e-education figures" refers to those important historical figures who have made great contributions to the development of early e-education. This book intends to select 12 e-education experts from many early e-education educators for research. This book takes the systematic collation of the academic ideas of the pioneers of electronic education to provide historical enlightenment for exploring the road of contemporary education technology in China, and takes the "whole leopard" from "one spot", from "history" to "logic", and "soil" and "spirit" as the basic guiding ideology, comprehensively applying interview methods, questionnaire methods, literature analysis and other methods to collect as much first-hand information as possible for research. On the one hand, the pioneers of e-education are examined in the context of their specific times, and while evaluating their theories and practices, they restore the real process of the emergence and development of their theories and practices, and reveal more clearly why they put forward these academic ideas in a broader "context"; On the other hand, the theory and practice of the pioneers of e-education are pushed to the whole of early e-education, and their role and influence on China's early e-education and even the whole of education are investigated. This book belongs to salvage research. Due to historical reasons, there has been a serious fault in the development of electronic education in China. The historical resources of early electronic education have not received due attention for a long time, and the relevant historical materials are relatively scattered. In addition, most of the witnesses of the early history of electrochemical education have passed away, and the few surviving ones are also old. If the research on these pioneers of electronic education is not done at this time, it will inevitably be more difficult in the future. Therefore, timely interviews with surviving witnesses, collection and collation of data, and a more systematic study of the academic ideas of early electronic education figures in China are salvage research in this sense. 2. The study of the history of disciplines is the basic work of the construction of basic theories of disciplines. Through the systematic study of China's early electronic education figures and their academic thoughts, this book enriches the research content of the basic theory of contemporary educational technology to a certain extent, and provides historical enlightenment for the construction of the theoretical system of educational technology with Chinese characteristics. In addition, educational technology is a secondary discipline of education, and its historical research is also an integral part of the study of educational history, and in this sense, this book is also rich in the research content of educational history.
