Promoting the transformation and development of urban economy is an inevitable choice for Chinese cities in the new normal period. As a megacity in the Yangtze River Delta region, Nanjing is one of the earliest cities to promote economic transformation and development, and its experience and cases of transformation and development have certain reference value for other cities in the country, especially megacities. On the basis of an in-depth analysis of the mode, law and experience of the economic transformation and development of megacities, this book systematically and comprehensively studies the main difficulties faced by Nanjing's urban development in the new normal period and its mission and ideas for future economic development, and conducts in-depth research on the transformation and development of Nanjing's industry, the development of open economy, scientific and technological innovation, regional development, and the promotion of supply-side structural reform.
