《中国政府透明度（2018）》以实证和量化研究为主要方法、立足一线的实践经验、使用一手数据材料，对2017年度全国政务公开工作开展情况进行了观察和总结。本书立足全国，坚持结果导向，从决策公开、执行公开、管理公开、服务公开、结果公开、解读回应、依申请公开等方面对2017年各级政府部门政务公开工作进行了全面评估，围绕一些与社会公众切身利益密切相关、社会关注度高的领域的政务公开展开了专项调研，并选取了一些有代表性的省、市对地方政务公开工作进行了有针对性的梳理。本书认为，《政府信息公开条例》施行10年来中国政府信息与政务公开工作不断完善，2017年中国透明政府建设取得新的进展。未来，应继续提高对政务公开工作的认识，不断完善政务公开工作的法律支撑和工作机制，实现新时代政务公开工作和法治政府、透明政府建设的新跨越。
