"Research on the Autobiography of Modern Chinese Writers" incorporates the autobiographies of Chinese writers since the 20th century into the research perspective of "modern China", and sorts out in detail the development process of autobiographies of Chinese writers in the past hundred years. "An Autobiographical Study of Modern Chinese Writers" explores some important issues in autobiographical research from the perspectives of identity, narrative, and theme. The author puts forward the concept of identity presupposition, and thus discusses the relationship between identity presupposition and autobiographical authenticity, and identity presupposition and readers' reading expectations, which provides a new perspective for the study of autobiographical authenticity.
