At the beginning of the 20th century, China's modern literary language underwent a "reborn" change and took on a new look. In the nearly 100 years (1917-2016) from May Fourth to the present, modern Chinese literary language has undergone a complete process of occurrence, development and relative maturity. This process is self-contained and shows unique patterns. This book attempts to explore the process of its occurrence, development and relative maturity of modern Chinese literary language as a whole. Modern Chinese literature has come to this day as a result of a variety of choices, and thus shows a unique face. This book intends to combine the changes of the times with the writer's personal exploration, and strive to answer the question of what kind of changes the modern Chinese literary language has undergone in the past hundred years, and why such changes have occurred.
