本书第一部分对中国区域政策进行了总体性研究，分析了区域政策的结构、功能，及其在中国政策体系中的地位，回顾了区域政策在中国的演变，总结了国内有关区域政策的研究，其特点是首次使用政策学的研究视角。第二部分研究中国的区域协调机制，提出了区域协调发展和区域合作效果的评价指标，其特点是首次研究了区域间的协调问题，提出关于区域合作效果的评价指标。第三部分从中国省级区域合作、省内区域合作和省交界地区的跨界合作三种主要区域合作中分别选取京津冀协同发展、珠三角洲区域合作、黄河金三角区域合作，进行案例研究，其特点是侧重政治学和行政管理学方面的分析。
The first part of this book provides an overall study of China's regional policy, analyzes the structure, function, and position of regional policy in China's policy system, reviews the evolution of regional policy in China, and summarizes domestic research on regional policy, which is characterized by the first use of policy research perspectives. The second part studies China's regional coordination mechanism and puts forward evaluation indicators for regional coordinated development and regional cooperation effectiveness.
