通过对创业型大学内涵的溯源性解读，提取两位理论鼻祖关于创业型大学内涵的最大公约数，结合中国实际构建创业型大学本土化的内涵要点。中国传统型院校向创业型大学转型，应用型大学是其不可逾越的一个发展阶段。当应用型大学能够凭借其人才培养质量与科研成果效应而不是政府的文凭保护来获得社会资源之后，应用型大学也就自然过渡到创业型大学自力更生能力的展现阶段。创业型大学的中国实践之路，不可能是一条自上而下的道路，只能是自下而上的“逆袭”之路。当传统型院校普遍转型为该种精神特质的大学，或者创业型大学的办学理念成为一种大学常识，那么“创业型大学”这个概念就可以因为完成“唤醒与启蒙”的重大使命而退出历史舞台。
Through the traceability interpretation of the connotation of entrepreneurial universities, the greatest common divisor of the connotation of entrepreneurial universities by the two theoretical originators is extracted, and the connotation points of the localization of entrepreneurial universities are constructed in combination with the actual situation in China. China's traditional universities have transformed into entrepreneurial universities, and applied universities are an insurmountable stage of development. When applied universities can obtain social resources by virtue of the quality of their talent training and the effect of scientific research achievements rather than the government's diploma protection, applied universities will naturally transition to the stage of self-reliance of entrepreneurial universities. The road of Chinese practice of entrepreneurial universities cannot be a top-down road, but only a bottom-up "counterattack" road.
