中华民族是一个多民族的共同体，在人类漫长的发展历程中各民族共同创造了灿烂辉煌的中华文化。而作为中华文化重要构成部分的中国文学，自然包含了多民族性。但长期以来，中国文学的多民族性遭到忽视。本书针对少数民族文学在中国当代文学“文化寻根”现象中缺失现状，专门以少数民族文学的“文化寻根”为研究对象，着力探究其发生语境与发展轨迹，同时选择西藏新小说的藏族作家文学书写、凉山彝族现代诗歌群，以及少数民族文学的人类学写作现象为研究个案，阐释少数民族文学“文化寻根”的不同路径与含义，以此彰显少数民族文学“文化寻根”之于中国当代文学“文化寻根”的重要意义，彰显多民族性之于中国文学发展的重要意义。
