本专著以埃斯卡皮的“文学社会学”、福柯的“知识考古学”、布尔迪厄的“场域理论”为主要依据，以“重回历史现场”的姿态，在深入挖掘评奖史料、展开理论思辩的基础上，将研究视野伸向整个20世纪的文学评奖活动之中，既填补了中国当代文学评奖“历史源起”研究的诸多学术空白，又在质疑学界已有共识的基础上对理论偏误进行了“纠偏”；既对全国性小说评奖为核心的中国当代文学评奖制度确立、演进、修正进行了全景式的考察，又对这种变化背后凸显的、文学场域内各种力量之间的相互博弈、此消彼长进行了富有建构性的研究，同时，对因此而形成的中国当代文学评奖的主导原则、审美偏向、制度性缺陷等从学理上给予了必要的辨析。

Based on Escalpi's "Sociology of Literature", Foucault's "Archaeology of Knowledge", and Bourdieu's "Field Theory", this monograph extends its research horizon to the literary awards activities of the entire 20th century on the basis of in-depth excavation of historical materials and theoretical debates in the posture of "returning to the historical scene", which not only fills many academic gaps in the research on the "historical origin" of contemporary Chinese literary awards, but also "corrects" theoretical biases on the basis of questioning the existing consensus in the academic circles. It not only conducts a panoramic investigation of the establishment, evolution and revision of the national contemporary Chinese literature award system with the national novel award as the core, but also conducts constructive research on the mutual game between various forces in the literary field highlighted behind this change, and at the same time, it gives the necessary academic analysis of the leading principles, aesthetic bias and institutional defects of the Chinese contemporary literature award formed as a result.（AI翻译）
