《〈申报〉〈新申报〉小说家述考（1907-1919）》一书由罗紫鹏的博士后报告修改而成。全书通过搜罗近代报刊史料，挖掘民初文人信息，对嘉定二我、徐了青、许瘦蝶等二十余位小说家的生平经历与文学成绩进行了梳理，探讨了《申报》《新申报》小说编创平台的搭建、小说家创作队伍的形成，进而考察了清末民初普通知识分子保存旧小说、拥抱新媒体的历史命运。

The book "Declaration and New Declaration" Novelist's Examination (1907-1919) was revised from Luo Zipeng's postdoctoral report. The book collects historical materials from modern newspapers and periodicals, excavates the information of literati in the early Minchu period, sorts out the life experiences and literary achievements of more than 20 novelists such as Jiading Erwei, Xu Yiqing, Xu Xiaodie, etc., discusses the construction of the novel creation platform of "Declaration" and "New Declaration" and the formation of the novelist's creative team, and then examines the historical fate of ordinary intellectuals in the late Qing Dynasty and early Min Dynasty to preserve old novels and embrace new media.（AI翻译）
