本书主要从跨语言、跨文化的学术视域，对五部《论语·学而》的英译选本进行汇校集释，其译者分别为马士曼、高大卫、理雅各、詹宁斯和苏慧廉。正是在中西方学术文化的交流与对话之中，中国传统的“校释”方法，才得以向翻译研究敞开其相对封闭的学术场域，并进而使内蕴于自身的理论潜能被再度激活。就具体的译文校释而言，本书以“关键词”的翻译与诠释为主，并辅之以“校释者按”，以期在“中西经文辩读”的意义上，对《论语》经文自身的多义性在翻译过程中的“变异”和“增殖”予以澄明。

This book mainly collects and expounds the English translations of five English translations of the Analects of Language and Learning from a cross-linguistic and cross-cultural perspective, translated by Marshman, David Gao, James Lee, Jennings and Su Huilian. It is precisely in the exchange and dialogue between Chinese and Western academic cultures that the traditional Chinese method of "proofreading" can open its relatively closed academic field to translation studies, and then reactivate its own theoretical potential. As far as the specific translation interpretation is concerned, this book mainly focuses on the translation and interpretation of "key words", supplemented by "proofreader's press", in order to clarify the "mutation" and "proliferation" of the polysemy of the Analects itself in the translation process in the sense of "Chinese and Western scripture debate".（AI翻译）
