女主政治作为贯穿帝制中国两千年历史始终的政治现象，对于理解整个帝制时代的政治文化、政治格局和政治运行都具有显见的重要价值。然而，基于历史编纂学的偏见所记载的女主传记，常渗透着主流意识形态的深刻规训，而严肃研究著作的相对阙如和普通大众读物的普遍泛滥，也在不断营造刻板印象的同时，从文化心理的角度生产着排斥女性参与政治的一般性知识。本书将论述的核心聚焦于女主政治的统治合法性问题，运用政治学的研究方法，结合社会性别理论，对帝制中国的政治体系、政治运行以及政治文化传统进行了重新解读，挑战了女主政治的既有刻板观念，也推进了对于帝制中国政治史的再理解和再认识。同时，本书摒弃了传统的男性视角，从女性自身的生命体验和价值诉求入手展开分析，由此揭示出社会文化规范和社会性别结构的运行规则，并使得以往在政治领域内被普遍蒙蔽的女性声音，得以公开地言说和聆听，从而拓展了女性史的研究。

As a political phenomenon throughout the 2,000-year history of imperial China, heroine politics has obvious and important value for understanding the political culture, political pattern and political operation of the entire imperial era. However, the biography of the heroine, based on the prejudice of historiography, is often permeated with the profound discipline of mainstream ideology, and the relative absence of serious research works and the widespread proliferation of ordinary public reading also continue to create stereotypes, while producing general knowledge that excludes women's participation in politics from a cultural and psychological point of view. This book focuses on the legitimacy of the rule of female protagonist politics, uses the research methods of political science, combined with gender theory, to reinterpret the political system, political operation and political cultural traditions of imperial China, challenges the existing stereotypes of female protagonist politics, and promotes the re-understanding and re-understanding of the political history of imperial China. At the same time, this book abandons the traditional male perspective and analyzes women's own life experiences and value demands, thereby revealing the operating rules of social and cultural norms and gender structures, and enabling female voices that have been widely blinded in the political field to speak and listen openly, thereby expanding the study of women's history.（AI翻译）
