This book adheres to Marxism and the theory of the Sinicization of Marxism, and delves into child welfare in China from 1949 to 1978. The theoretical basis of child welfare in China during this period was discussed, namely the Marxist concept of welfare, the socialist concept of children, and the idea of child welfare in traditional Chinese culture.
