以空间格局重塑为着力点破解现代生态难题，旨在超越资本主义空间生产的生态困境，推动形成人与自然和谐发展现代化建设新格局。回溯历史，马克思主义生态观内含空间问题的前瞻性思考，为构建新时代生态文明空间格局提供了科学的世界观和方法论。十八大以来，中国共产党人明确将优化国土空间格局作为推动生态文明建设的重要任务，提出着力形成节约资源和保护环境的空间格局的总体要求。构建新时代生态文明空间格局，强调对“社会—经济—自然复合生态系统”的共生性结构以及交又运行机制进行全面考察，对空间格局的基本要素、基本环节、主体依托和现实主题进行统筹权衡。综观国土空间格局开发利用的现状及趋势，必须在观念、技术、制度等层面进行全方位变革，倾力打造生产空间集约高效、生活空间宜居适度、生态空间山清水秀的空间格局。
Focusing on the reshaping of the spatial pattern to solve the modern ecological problem, it aims to surpass the ecological dilemma of capitalist spatial production and promote the formation of a new pattern of harmonious development and modernization of man and nature. Looking back at history, the Marxist ecological concept contains forward-looking thinking on spatial issues, which provides a scientific world view and methodology for constructing the spatial pattern of ecological civilization in the new era. Since the 18th National Congress, the Chinese Communists have clearly regarded optimizing the spatial pattern of the national territory as an important task to promote the construction of ecological civilization, and put forward the overall requirements for forming a spatial pattern that conserves resources and protects the environment. To construct the spatial pattern of ecological civilization in the new era, it emphasizes a comprehensive investigation of the symbiotic structure and intersection operation mechanism of the "social-economic-natural composite ecosystem", and weighs the basic elements, basic links, subject support and realistic themes of the spatial pattern.
