In the post-Kyoto era, embodied carbon emissions from international trade are one of the focal points of international climate negotiations. China, the second largest in economic output and the world's largest trade in goods, is facing huge pressure to reduce emissions, and it is a basic task to clarify the embodied carbon emission efficiency of export trade, calculate the embodied carbon emission efficiency and technology gap ratio of China's export trade and analyze their characteristics, and evaluate the performance of the coordinated development of export trade, efficiency and economic level, which is conducive to China's game in international climate negotiations.
