This book focuses on China's rural development during the 14th Five-Year Plan, which is the first five-year planning period linked with the rural revitalization strategy, during which consolidating the achievements of building a moderately prosperous society in rural areas in an all-round way, comprehensively implementing the rural revitalization strategy, and promoting high-quality rural development are the main lines of China's rural development. Based on the target values of key indicators, combined with the phased changes and new situations facing rural development in the future, this book should take "one main line, one guarantee, and four major priorities" as the general idea during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, take the main goals as the guide, actively implement the echelon promotion strategy of agricultural and rural modernization with Chinese characteristics, and open the road to rural revitalization in the post-moderately prosperous era. Therefore, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it is necessary to comprehensively promote rural revitalization by making up for shortcomings, adjusting the structure, grasping reform, and strengthening governance.
