This collection is compiled to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Institute of Ethnic Literature of the Academy of Social Sciences, and contains 43 academic papers, all of which were published by researchers of the Institute of Ethnic Literature from 2010 to 2020. The anthology covers a wide range of topics, theoretical explorations and case studies, and presents the general style of minority literature research in many aspects. The content of the anthology covers folk literature, writer's literature, literary theory, the source of ethnic literature development, ethnic minority literature materials and information construction, intangible cultural heritage and other fields or topics. In terms of theory and methodology, we can see the combination of the study of literature with folklore, linguistics, anthropology and other disciplines.
