20世纪90年代初，古巴社会主义因苏东剧变陷入内外交困。进入“和平时期特殊阶段”后，古巴先后经历了危机管理、艰难复苏、思想战和模式更新等历史阶段。面对不断变化的世情、国情和党情，古巴共产党始终坚守古巴特色社会主义道路，并试图从模式更新的理论化与制度化入手，寻求古巴社会主义发展的新机遇与新阶段。当前，古巴模式更新面临着政治、经济、社会及对外关系等多重考验。本书试图通过梳理苏东剧变后古巴社会主义的发展脉络，总结古巴社会主义经济建设与模式更新的基本经验与特点，探析古巴社会主义面临的全球化挑战和更新前景。

In the early 90s of the 20th century, Cuban socialism fell into internal and external difficulties due to the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. After entering the "special stage of peacetime", Cuba has successively gone through historical stages such as crisis management, difficult recovery, ideological warfare and model renewal. In the face of the ever-changing world, national and party conditions, the Communist Party of Cuba has always adhered to the path of socialism with Cuban characteristics, and tried to seek new opportunities and new stages in the development of socialism in Cuba starting from the theorization and institutionalization of model renewal. At present, the renewal of the Cuban model is facing multiple challenges in political, economic, social and external relations. This book attempts to sort out the development context of Cuban socialism after the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, summarize the basic experience and characteristics of Cuba's socialist economic construction and model renewal, and explore the globalization challenges and renewal prospects faced by Cuban socialism.（AI翻译）
