新冠肺炎疫情刺激了百年未有之大变局，加速了中华民族伟大复兴的历史进程，进入世界舞台中心的中国必然影响着世界秩序的变革和走向，因此作为影响双边关系深层结构的世界政治体系亟待研究。既有的关于世界政治经济变迁的研究单元有“资本主义”和“文明范式”，本书以“政治思潮”为研究单元——聚焦于政治思潮诱发的国内制度变迁以及由此塑造的大国关系和世界秩序。本书认为，以政治思潮界定的世界政治理论，将是作为一门“新史学”的世界政治史研究的理论框架。
The new crown pneumonia epidemic has stimulated major changes unprecedented in a century, accelerated the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and China, which has entered the center of the world stage, will inevitably affect the change and trend of the world order, so the world political system as a deep structure affecting bilateral relations needs to be studied urgently. The existing research units on world political and economic changes include "capitalism" and "civilization paradigm", and this book takes "political thought" as the research unit, focusing on the domestic institutional changes induced by political trends and the resulting great power relations and world order.
