本书是国家社科基金特别委托项目子项目成果。毛南族是全国人口较少民族之一。广西环江毛南族自治县成立于1987年，是全国的毛南族自治县。本书在实地调研的基础上，结合相关文献资料和先行研究成果，从宏观论述与微观考察两个角度，着重对环江毛南族自治县成立以来经济社会发展现状、成效、经验以及存在的问题，进行了分析和研究，力图从中探究如何在全面建设小康社会的过程中加快少数民族聚居区经济社会发展。2020年5月20日，中共中央总书记习近平同志对毛南族实现整族脱贫作出重要指示，毛南族进入了新的历史发展阶段。本书为观察和了解毛南族脱贫攻坚历程，提供了重要的视角和材料。

< P > This book is the result of a sub-project specially commissioned by the National Social Science Foundation of China. Maonan is one of the less populated ethnic groups in China. Guangxi Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County was founded in 1987, is the national Maonan Autonomous county. On the basis of field research, combined with relevant literature and previous research results, this book focuses on the analysis and research of the current situation, effects, experience and existing problems of the economic and social development of Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County since its establishment from two perspectives of macroscopic discussion and microscopic investigation. It tries to explore how to speed up the economic and social development of minority communities in the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way. On May 20, 2020, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the COMMUNIST Party of China Central Committee, gave important instructions to the Maonan to achieve poverty alleviation for the whole ethnic group, and the Maonan has entered a new stage of historical development. This book provides an important perspective and material for observing and understanding maonan's poverty alleviation process.
