Zhu Quangang,is an assistant researcher of the Institute of West Asian ＆ African Studies (China-Africa Institute), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS). His research focuses on politics in the Middle East, international relations in the Middle East, civil-military relations of the Middle East. He has published more than ten articles around Middle East studies. His representative publications include On the Military's Role in Upheaval and the Political Transformation in Egypt (journal article), The Rise of Multiple Armed Forces in Yemen and Its Governance Predicaments(journal article ).
