本著基于文化自觉的立场，旨在以古代先哲及典籍为分析个案，粗略检视偏向于口头传统的中国儒释道思想，阐明中国传统文化所昭示出来的传播理念及其政治咨商偏向，并将分析的触角延伸到当代微传播文化领域。在阐释中发现，中国传统思想的当代传播学新命是值得信赖和敬畏的。
