汉语介词结构在句中所居位置的变化是汉语史研究的重要课题。本书以后置介词结构为对象，运用历时分析的方法，通过大量的文献典籍，考察汉语后置介词结构语序演变的过程，讨论介词结构移位的动因。本书从语言事实出发，全面研究了汉语后置介词结构的发展变化，研究结论对于汉语语法史的研究具有一定的参考意义。
