The most important achievement of the 40 years of reform and opening up is that we have embarked on a road of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics. Systematically summing up the important experience of reform and opening up is of extremely great significance to comprehensively deepening reform, realizing the "two centenary goals," and to the fate and future of world socialism. Based on the summary of the experience of the great history of reform and opening up, this book adheres to the dynamic practice theory, and is based on understanding and grasping the law of reform from the perspective of "crossing the river by feeling the stones" and combining top-level design. By combing through the historical experience of reform and opening up over the past 40 years, this book draws two conclusions: (1) Reform is an unprecedented social experiment and a difficult and tortuous exploration process.
