Jinling Book Store was the most famous local book company in the late Qing Dynasty and the most important official engraving publishing institution. This book provides a thorough review and discussion of the historical stages, engraving personnel, and engraving standards of the Jinling Bookstore. It also examines the number of books, describes outlines, identifies historical facts, and reveals the complex reasons for the rise of local bookstores in the late Qing Dynasty, as well as the academic activities of relevant scholars. It is worth noting that this book has put a lot of effort into textual research on historical facts, and the viewpoints proposed are also quite innovative, which has received great attention from the academic community.
