邓大才，男，1970年生，湖南省汉寿县人，教授、博士生导师，华中师范大学中国农村研究院/政治科学高等研究院院长，2010年入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，2015年被聘为青年长江学者。中国政治学会常务理事，湖北省政治学会会长，教育部高等学校政治学类专业教学指导委员会委员。中央农办、农业农村部乡村振兴专家咨询委员会委员，湖北省人民政府咨询委员会委员。主要研究领域为政治学理论与乡村治理。

President of the China Rural Research Institute / the Higher Research Institute of Political Science at Central China Normal University. Deng was selected into the "New Century Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education" in 2010 and employed as a young scholar of Changjiang in 2015. He is a member of the Expert Advisory Committee on Rural Revitalization of the Central Agricultural Office and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, a member of the Advisory Committee of the People's Government of Hubei Province. The main fields of his research are political theory and rural governance.
