Gao Peiyong, Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is an expert in the analysis of fiscal economics and fiscal taxation policies. He has won more than 20 awards, including the National Social Science Fund Project Outstanding Achievement Award, the Teaching Achievement Award, the Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, the Humanities and Social Science Research Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education, the CASS Outstanding Achievement Award, the China Finance Society Outstanding Achievement Award, the Outstanding Achievement Award of Renmin University of China and the Excellent Decision Information Award of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In 1997, he was elected as one of the “100 Talents Project” in Beijing. In 1998, he was selected to the “Cross-Century Excellent Talents Training Program” of the Ministry of Education and the “100 Million Talents Project Plan” (first and second levels) of the Ministry of Personnel. In the same year, he received government special allowances. He has served as the keynote speaker for the collective study of the Party and state leaders three times.
