PhD in Literature, Professor of the School of Literature and Journalism at the Ocean University of China and the Visiting Scholar of the English Language Department at the University of Cambridge, the Intercultural Communication Research Center at the University of Louisville, the Faulkner Research Center of Southeast Missouri State University. She was also invited to serve as a paper review expert for Intercultural Communication Research which is sponsored by the International Association of Intercultural Communication Studies. Her academic research direction is the comparative study of Chinese and Western literature and cross-cultural communication. In recent years, she has published five books, such as Chinese Intercultural Communication Study on Shen Congwen’s and Faulkner’s Novels Through a Multidimensional View, Cross-Cultural Communication, Intercultural Communication Course, etc. and she has published more than 40 papers in authoritative publications at home and abroad, such as Literary Criticism, Comparative literature in China, Foreign Literature Studies, Intercultural Communication Studies and China Media Research, etc. She has undertaken many scientific research projects such as “William Faulkner’s Influence on Chinese Novels in the New Period” by the National Social Science Fund Project. She has won the second and third prizes of Shandong Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievements, the second prize of Excellent Achievements of Shandong Higher Education Institutions, the Second Prize of Shandong Art Science and the first prize of Qingdao Social Science Outstanding Achievements and many other academic awards.
