Liu Qian, Associate Professor at the Institute of Anthropology at the School of Sociology and Population Studies of Renmin University in China, and he is also a doctoral supervisor. His main research interests include educational anthropology, medical anthropology and methods of field work. He undertakes various projects, such as the National Social Science Fund project and the Beijing Social
Science Fund project. He has published 3 monographs and edited 5 books. He has published more than 30 academic papers in various academic journals, such as Educational Research, the Journal of Renmin University of China and the Journal of the Chinese Society of Education, and many of them have been reproduced in full by authoritative publications such as the Xinhua Digest and the Chinese Social Society Digest.
