Deng Yanting, Ph.D. in laws, assistant researcher of the Institute of West-Asian and African Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), has a particular interest in the research of regional integration in East Africa. He is currently involved in the study of the key countries in China-Africa production capacity cooperation, specifically in the follow-up study of East African countries. He has published a number of papers such as“Mombasa-Nairobi Railway: New Pattern in Cross-border Railway Construction in East African Region”;“East African Railway Interconnection Construction under the Belt and Road Initiative”;“A Study of Union Relationship between Tanganyika and Zanzibar”etc.
