吴定海，博士，现任广东省深圳市社会科学院（深圳市社会科学联合会）党组书记、院长（主席），曾任中共深圳市委宣传部新闻出版处处长，中共深圳市委对外宣传办公室（市政府新闻办公室）副主任，深圳市盐田区委常委、宣传部长，中共深圳市委宣传部副部长兼市文明办主任等职。

Wu Dinghai, Ph.D., is currently Secretary of the Party Group and president of the Shenzhen Academy of Social Sciences. He has been engaged in propaganda and cultural management and research for a long time, and has rich research experience and achievements in the fields of modern urban civilization construction, mass communication theory and practice, and the development of special economic zones.
