李林，法学博士，中国社会科学院学部委员，法学研究所原所长、研究员、博士生导师。中国法学会学术委员会副主任、法理学研究会会长、网络与信息法学研究会会长。2003年十六届中共中央政治局第八次集体学习、2018年十九届中共中央政治局第四次集体学习主讲人。主要研究领域为法理学、宪法学、依法治国与民主法治问题。出版论著60余部，发表论文和理论文章300余篇，提交内部研究报告150余份。
