农业历史地理学是研究历史时期农业发展、结构及布局演变规律及其形成原因的学科，人口增减、耕地垦殖及农作物的种植与布局为农业历史地理学最基本的研究内容。本书前三章就是这方面的研究成果，主要以明清山东与东北地区为例。第四章利用曲阜孔府档案资料等匡算出各类粮食作物的亩产量及播种比例，建立了两年三熟轮作复种制明中后期形成的新观点。在研究粮食作物结构变迁的过程中，认为历史地理学结构性的重要有时候会超过其空间性。第五、第六两章为农业历史地理相关综合与理论的内容。本书从中国北方农业历史地理学的研究实践中总结出历史地理学专题研究最基本的四项原则，供学界参考。

Agricultural historical geography is a discipline that studies the evolution of agricultural development, structure and layout in historical periods and the reasons for its formation, and population increase and decrease, cultivated land reclamation and crop planting and layout are the most basic research contents of agricultural historical geography. The first three chapters of this book are the results of this research, mainly using the Ming and Qing dynasties, Shandong and Northeast regions as examples. Chapter 4 uses the archives of Qufu Kongfu to calculate the mu yield and sowing ratio of various grain crops, and establishes a new view formed in the middle and late Ming Dynasty of the two-year three-ripening crop rotation system. In the process of studying the structural changes of food crops, it is believed that the structural importance of historical geography sometimes exceeds its spatiality. Chapters 5 and 6 are the contents of the synthesis and theory related to agricultural history and geography. This book summarizes the four most basic principles of historical geography from the research practice of agricultural historical geography in northern China for the reference of the academic community.（AI翻译）
