本书利用知识考古和“多重证据法”，对黄帝史实与崇拜观念进行了系统研究。以后世奉为“人文始祖”的黄帝为对象，通过对黄帝、炎帝、蚩尤、颛顼、帝喾、尧、舜等上古族邦的全面分析，廓清黄帝传说中的真实与虚妄，尝试重新勾勒中国上古族邦的亲缘和地缘图谱。作者提出古史传说在历史上经历了三期发展，进一步发展了族邦理论，客观评价20世纪古史研究思潮，并第一次对先秦到当代不同时期的黄帝崇拜观念进行了全景论述。全书体现了作者试图构建古史理论体系、厘清黄帝史实和黄帝崇拜变迁的努力，其研究有助于对黄帝、传说时代、中国文明起源、中国古代史、社会史、文物考古等诸多理论问题的认识。

This book USES knowledge archaeology and "multiple evidence law" to systematically study the historical facts and worship of yellow emperor. To later generations as the "father" of the yellow emperor as the object, through to the yellow emperor, emperor yan, human-god, ZhuanXu, emperor emperor ku, a comprehensive analysis of yao, shun and other ancient nations, entered in the legend of the yellow emperor true and false, try to draw the outline of Chinese ancient nations of kinship and geographical map. The author puts forward ancient legends in history has experienced three periods of development, further developed the theory of nations, an objective evaluation of ancient Chinese thoughts of the 20th century, and for the first time to the pre-qin period to the contemporary in different periods of the yellow emperor worship ideas described a panoramic view. Encyclopedia embodies the author tries to build a theory of ancient history system, clarify the facts and the yellow emperor worship change efforts, its research helps, legends of the yellow emperor in age, the origin of Chinese civilization, ancient Chinese history, the understanding of the theory of social history, cultural relic archaeology, and many other problems.
