《现代新儒学与船山学》通过对现代新儒家第一、二、三代主要代表人物的船山学研究进行考察，试图梳理出他们的思想及理论建构与船山学之间的内在关联。现代新儒家群体普遍重视船山思想，但每一位现代新儒家的船山学研究因个人特点、关注的问题、轻重详略各不相同，围绕对船山天道论、人性论、人道论以及历史哲学的诠释，本书期望揭示现代新儒家从船山处到底继承了什么，推崇什么，缘由何在。其船山学研究有什么发展趋势，进而挖掘出现代新儒家总的思想旨趣的一致性，从而回答为什么会有“回到船山”口号的提出。马克思主义学派是20世纪极为重视船山学研究的另一个主要思想派别。本书对现代新儒学的船山学研究与马克思主义的船山学研究做了比较，船山学或能成为现代新儒学与马克思主义实现深入对话的一个可能的思想中介。
Modern Neo-Confucianism and Funayama Studies examines the research of the main representatives of the first, second and third generations of modern Neo-Confucianism, and attempts to tease out the intrinsic relationship between their ideas and theoretical construction and Funayama Studies. Modern neo-Confucian groups generally attach importance to Funayama thought, but each modern neo-Confucian study of Funayama is slightly different according to personal characteristics, concerns, and priorities, and around the interpretation of Funayama Heavenly Daoism, human nature, humanism, and historical philosophy, this book hopes to reveal what modern Neo-Confucianism inherits from Funayama, what it admires, and why. What are the development trends of his Funayama studies, and then excavate the consistency of the general ideological purpose of modern neo-Confucianism, thus answering why the slogan "Return to Funayama" was proposed. The Marxist school was another major school of thought in the 20th century that attached great importance to the study of Funayama. This book compares the study of Funayama in modern Neo-Confucianism with the study of Funayama in Marxism, and Funayama may become a possible ideological intermediary for the in-depth dialogue between modern Neo-Confucianism and Marxism.（AI翻译）
