This book attempts to compare the establishment logic, functional mission and growth performance of special economic zones in different regions and countries through the comparative study of Chinese and foreign special economic zones, analyze and compare the political preconditions, policy support, social and cultural characteristics of the development of special economic zones, and then analyze the unique development characteristics and reference value of special economic zones. Through comparative research, the construction mode and unique practical experience of China's special economic zones are revealed, and the reference value of construction models and practical experience to developing countries is different from that of other special economic zones.
