改革开放以来中国经济快速增长、基础设施极大发展与经济活动空间非均衡分布、区域发展差距不断扩大共存等现象日益引起人们的关注。本书在新经济地理学框架下，通过对传统自由资本模型的不断扩展来探索基础设施与经济活动空间分布、产业转移、区域经济增长、区域差距收敛间的逻辑机理，以跟踪转移支付资金最终流向方式探讨了不同补贴政策的效果；并以中国的数据进行空间计量实证分析。本书采用严谨的数理模型推理、规范的数值模拟与计量分析，因此本书主要面向经济学科的研究人员、区域政策制定者，同时也可以作为具有良好数学与经济学基础的高年级研究生的参考用书。

周亚雄 男，中共党员，甘肃会宁人，副教授，经济学博士，杭州电子科技大学经济学院经济学系教师。主要研究方向：新经济地理学、资源与环境经济学、公共基础设施等。已在《世界经济》《南开经济研究》《南京社会科学》等刊物上发表学术论文多篇，主持国家社科基金一般项目、教育部人文社会科学研究项目、浙江省软科学研究计划项目各一项，先后参与了多项国家社科基金重点项目、国家社科基金一般项目、教育部人文社会科学研究项目等。
