《南唐诗史》一书致力于诗史的钩沉，以南唐三朝境内不同地域诗坛和诗人群体的兴起落为焦点，详考其发展演变过程，力求恢复作为五代十国诗歌重镇的南唐诗坛的原貌，从而将南唐诗这一唐宋诗转型过程中的重要环节缕述清楚。本书不但对南唐重要诗人如李建励、李中、徐弦、郑文宝等人的诗歌加以详尽论列，也着重还原了由南唐入宋的诗人群之创作实绩及其诗学典范和观念的承传本末，理清了南唐诗对宋初诗坛无可替代的作用和影响。同时，对于南唐诗所赖以生发的南唐文化，也试图剖析其特质，厘清其渊源，诸如其博学之风和好尚“清贵”的艺术趣味对诗歌的影响、南唐宗室的文艺传统及宋初文化格局中南唐形象的多歧等现象和问题的发现与解答，都是这一努力的体现。

The book "History of Southern Tang Poetry" is dedicated to the hook and sink of poetic history, focusing on the rise and fall of poetry circles and poet groups in different regions in the territory of the Southern Tang Dynasty, examining their development and evolution in detail, and striving to restore the original appearance of the Southern Tang poetry as an important poetry town of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, so as to clearly describe the Southern Tang poetry, an important link in the transformation process of Tang and Song poetry. This book not only discusses in detail the poems of important poets of the Southern Tang Dynasty, such as Li Jianli, Li Zhong, Xu Xian, Zheng Wenbao and others, but also focuses on restoring the creative achievements of the poets from the Southern Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty and the inheritance of their poetic models and concepts, and clarifies the irreplaceable role and influence of Southern Tang poetry on the poetry of the early Song Dynasty. At the same time, for the Southern Tang culture on which Southern Tang poetry was based, it also tried to analyze its characteristics and clarify its origins, such as the influence of its erudite style and the artistic interest of the "Qinggui" on poetry, the literary and artistic traditions of the Southern Tang Dynasty, and the divergent images of the Southern Tang in the early Song Dynasty cultural pattern, all of which are the embodiment of this effort.（AI翻译）
